Okay, be honest. Do you warm up before you climb? Do you do a few half-intentioned things and then jump on before being fully warm? And then do you wonder why things don't feel great on the wall?!
Don't worry, I've been there, too. I just get so excited to climb that it's hard to refrain right away!
Ideally, the perfect warm up would include a few minutes of cardio (power walk, light jog, etc) to get your body warm and then dynamic stretching to prepare your body for what's to come. This routine could easily take 10-15 minutes.
If you're short on time or if you're the type who usually just skips the warm up altogether, then this video is for you. It's only 5 minutes long but it hits up all the essentials. From wrist stretches, spinal twists, and light hip openers, it'll quickly get you ready for what's to come.
