"I'm a climber, why do I gotta do the lower body thing?!!"
The truth is, legs are literally half of the equation when you're climbing and they're oftentimes neglected in a strength training routine. You might think the added bulk will make it harder to climb or that all your energy should go to upper body training.
That's simply not true.
The strength you will gain from training your lower body will far exceed any extra "bulk" you think you'll put on. Trust me, it's not as easy to bulk up on accident as you might think!
